Acting Religious Education and Identity Curriculum Leader


We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across the school.


The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs, leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area, and fostering collaboration and transparency with stakeholders.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong background in curriculum leadership.


Key Responsibilities:



* Develop and implement effective pedagogies to support student learning

* Supervise teaching and learning quality and use data to inform decisions

* Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders, teaching staff, and Senior Leadership to review curriculum frameworks and plan future directions

* Provide induction and mentoring for beginning teachers in collaboration with Senior Leadership and Curriculum Leaders

* Manage financial and material resources within the curriculum area, including budget planning and expenditure

* Stay current with curriculum and pedagogy developments and guide whole-school professional learning accordingly

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:



* Developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements

* Experience in leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area

* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including collaboration and transparency

* Responsibility for a financial budget

* Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
