Mechanical Testing and Integrity Expert
At our world-renowned centre of excellence, we provide industry-leading services in engineering, training and certification.
The primary responsibilities of this section involve fatigue and fracture design consultancy services, and the organisation of mechanical testing of materials, including tensile, fatigue, fracture, crack growth, creep, etc. using standardised methodologies in air and aggressive environments.
The properties and material performance characterisation derived from these testing programmes are then used to make integrity management decisions to support clients through fitness-for-service and risk-based assessment approaches.
This role would suit a mechanical engineer or a materials scientist with an interest and ideally prior experience in mechanical testing, and/or structural integrity assessment, to lead and contribute to projects.
