About the role
You will joining a glolbal health organisation who is currently undergoing a major modernisation uplift. You will be reporting into the Head of Health Applications. As a lead .net developer you will be offering technical leadership, supporting best engineering and agile practices with the application team. This role may offer people leadership duties depending on the persons strengths but at is core is a hands on development role, supporting, and ongoing development of applications across BAU and Project work. You'll manage the full system lifecycle including upgrades, integrations, user support, and compliance ensuring the platform meets clinical, administrative, and business needs.
What's Required
At least 5 years working as a backend developer across the Microsoft stack, C#, .Net, SQL
Experienced following Agile Development practices and will have run scrum meetings
Not essential but enterprise healthcare application management, ideally within patient management or EMR platforms would be beneficial
Strong knowledge of system integration standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and interface engines.
Hands-on experience in managing complex systems across cloud/on-prem hybrid environments.
Proven track record in system architecture, incident management, vendor oversight, and release management.
Familiarity with security protocols, identity access management, and Australian data privacy and cybersecurity standards.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
