Job Overview
Cochlear is looking for a seasoned Manufacturing Support Engineer to provide technical leadership in manufacturing and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and support continuous improvement of the manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably mechanical or manufacturing, with experience in working within a quality management system and a proven track record in problem-solving and design.
* Analyze manufacturing rejects to identify and rectify root causes.
* Provide solutions to identified production problems.
* Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role within a highly regulated industry.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles.
