The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Operations & Maintenance team at HMAS Albatross in the Shoalhaven Region of NSW.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment, supporting national security requirements. You will benefit from working with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term, operations and maintenance contract.
The Role
You will report to a Maintenance Supervisor, based at HMAS Albatross, supporting the NSW Shoalhaven region.
Occasional regional travel across NSW may be required.
* Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
* Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
* Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
* Support subcontracted work packages as required
* Support various sites in the region with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout NSW

* Level 1 - $45.57 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)
* Level 2 - $49.05 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)
* Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $52.55 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($35.27 Weekly)
Requirements
To be successful, you will have:
* Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience
* Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
* Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded
* Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded
* Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
* Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
