Overview
Our clients are a highly successful accounting/audit practice who employ over 100 professional staff with offices across Western Australia. They have opened a new office in Perth to service a large audit client base (Government and commercial). Reporting into a highly experienced audit manager, this newly created position would see the successful candidate be part of a growing and already successful Audit team. The partners understand how important a work/life balance is, so they are prepared to offer work from home (1 day per week) and flexi hours with no travel to clients unless in working hours so not to eat away at your free time. We are looking for either an experienced intermediate or senior auditor (External) to join this team located close to West Perth.
Responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years' experience performing external audits
* Progress toward or completion of CA/CPA qualification
* Technically sound
* Ability to work on a wide range of clients in Western Australia
* Professional attitude
* Able to work alone or as part of a team
* Able to work from home or the new office
* Looking for a long term career with a highly successful accounting/audit practice
* Some limited travel required; travel incentives in place and travel is in work hours with the occasional overnight stay required, however this is limited and scheduled months in advance
* Previous use of Caseware or similar audit software preferential
* Excellent communication skills – must be able to liaise with clients directly in person, on phone, Teams and remotely
