Aircraft Technical Records Officer Role
McDermott Aviation seeks a skilled Aircraft Technical Records Officer to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the company's aircraft records and maintenance information.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a technical records system that facilitates search and retrieval of aircraft records in an efficient manner.
* Oversee the upkeep of maintenance information database and tracking systems.
* Ensure all aircraft records are stored in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Track and resolve discrepancies in aircraft maintenance records and work packages.
* Periodically audit physical aircraft and engine records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Develop new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
* Use maintenance tracking software to plan and schedule fleet maintenance activities.
* Assist in creating work packs and processing parts in the maintenance system.
* Process completed work packs and track defects.
* Prepare maintenance release documentation for certification by authorized personnel.
* Maintain accurate records through production of loose-leaf logbook entries.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and vendors, as well as proficiency in using maintenance tracking software. A keen interest in the aviation industry and strong communication skills are also essential.
