Job Description:
A critical component of our mission at Advanced Personnel Management (APM) Workcare is the prevention and proactive management of injuries in the workplace.
We work collaboratively with employers and their staff to minimize the personal and business impact of injuries, illness, and disability through prevention, rehabilitation, and training.
The Role:
This Occupational Therapist position involves working full-time or part-time to support clients as they return to work and life after physical or psychological injury.
You will use your clinical expertise and skills to influence and guide clients towards achieving their desired outcomes through a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Utilize your clinical skills across various programs including icare, CTP, non-comp Corporate, Govt functional education, and training, as well as ADLs across multiple schemes.
* Collaborate with CTP insurers on complex injuries, discharge planning, and RTW.
* Participate in stakeholder meetings, build relationships, and achieve recovery outcomes for all parties involved.
* Employ award-winning psychosocial risk tools to achieve excellent return-to-work outcomes.
* Spend 50% of your work week out-of-office meeting medical professionals, treating parties, employers, and clients.

This role offers the flexibility and autonomy to set your own hours, work location, and control over your diary.
Your focus will be on achieving effective outcomes for your clients, which can be achieved through teleconferences, employer visits, worksite meetings, client visits, or phone calls.

Requirements:
* Professional Registration with AHPRA.
* A strong client focus and the ability to build relationships with a range of people.
* A current or ability to hold a Working with Children Check.
