Recruitment Vision is looking for candidates that are self‐motivated and able to perform at high standards with minimal supervision. You will need to have proven experience working within a chemical processing facility or similar environment. The Production Operators are responsible for operating and controlling various areas of the processing equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner.
This position is based on an attractive 8 on 6 off FIFO roster. Candidates are required to pass a pre‐employment medical and drug screen.
Responsibilities
Operating the plant involves many different activities, including overseeing the control of the process, product sampling, operating mobile equipment and monitoring operational equipment.
Qualifications
* Have a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in process operating or a similar environment; chemical refining background highly desirable.
* HR truck or above licence required.
* High risk folk licence required.
* Possess Certificate III Process Plant Operations highly desirable.
* Be able to work a production shift roster and open to flexibility around day and night work.
* Possess a current driver's licence and be eligible for a clean national police clearance.
* Demonstrate strong problem‐solving skills with the ability to assess risk and follow safe procedures of work.
