What you will do:
Spray Painting:
Apply paint to vehicles with precision, achieving a high-quality finish that meets industry standards.
Sand Blasting:
Prepare truck bodies, cabs, and components by removing rust, paint, and contaminants using blasting equipment to ensure a clean surface for painting.
Paint Prepping:
Sand, mask, and prime surfaces to achieve a flawless finish.
Polishing:
Use machine polishers and hand tools to remove minor scratches, swirl marks, and paint imperfections.
Vehicle Work:
Carry out preparation, sand blasting, and spray painting of truck cabs, buses, and truck bodies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members to maintain repair timelines and meet customer expectations.
Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Equipment Care:
Maintain and check tools and blasting/painting equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
Communication:
Engage effectively with team members and supervisors to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional results.
What you will bring:
Proven experience in your respective trade within the automotive repair industry
Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing or relevant experience (essential)
2+ years' experience
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality workmanship.
Familiarity with industry standard tools, equipment and techniques
Sound time management and interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
Current Driver's license
