Short term MR truck driver - Forklift licence advantageous!! (67028) Berrimah, Darwin, Australia
Salary: AUD32 - AUD33 per hour
We are currently seeking a reliable and committed MR Truck delivery driver for a short-term coverage assignment. The ideal candidate will have a background in delivery driving and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
The role is with an insulation business, supplying goods to the Darwin and surrounds areas. Forklift licence advantageous!!
Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1600.
Dates of coverage: Monday 16 June to Friday 8 August.
Pay rate: $32.65 per hour (including casual loading).
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate an MR Truck to deliver goods to various locations
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean and organized truck at all times
Requirements
- Valid MR Truck licence and clean driving record
- Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role
- Robust communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Flexibility to work on short-term coverage assignments as needed
- Ideally you will also hold a Forklift licence (High risk) with experience; this is advantageous but not absolutely necessary
