The Role
You will move between departments and systems, understanding business processes in detail and implementing practical system changes to improve efficiency, adoption, and outcomes. You will manage service requests, project initiatives and continuous improvement activities in a fast paced, multi‐system environment. Alongside this, you will play a key role in introducing new systems into the organisation, partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to define requirements, configure solutions, and ensure successful implementation and adoption. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable analysing business problems, configuring systems, and seeing work through to completion in a fast‐moving, multi‐system environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Own and deliver system enhancements and support activities through service requests and DevOps boards, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimisation of enterprise applications.
* Work directly with business units to understand processes, identify inefficiencies, and deliver practical system‐based improvements.
* Translate business needs into functional and technical outcomes, working closely with internal technology teams and vendors.
* Lead discovery and process analysis to support continuous improvement and new system selection.
* Support the introduction of new systems, including requirements definition, configuration, testing, and business adoption.
* Operate across multiple systems and priorities, adapting quickly to changing business needs.
What Success Looks Like
You'll take a hands‐on, outcomes‐focused approach, owning system improvements and delivering practical solutions across business and technical environments. Success in this role means confidently managing multiple platforms, stakeholders, and priorities while using tools like Halo ITSM, Jira, and Microsoft DevOps to deliver sustainable, high‐quality outcomes with accountability and efficiency.
Required
* Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
* Formal training or certification in business analysis (e.g., BABOK, Agile BA, PMI‐PBA, or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in business analysis roles, with at least 2 years in a technical or systems‐focused capacity.
* Demonstrated experience in configuring and administering enterprise systems or platforms.
* Proven track record in leading business analysis activities across multiple projects or programmes.
* Experience supporting change management and business readiness activities.
* Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks, tools, and techniques.
* Knowledge of system configuration, administration, and lifecycle management.
* Familiarity with change management principles and user adoption strategies.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills across business and technical domains.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred
* Experience working in Agile and hybrid project delivery environments.
* Exposure to vendor management and third‐party solution integration.
* Experience in the industry.
* Understanding of data structures, reporting tools, and business intelligence concepts.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance considerations in system design.
* Understanding of governance, risk, and compliance in technology environments.
