As a restaurant supervisor your duties will include but aren't limited to:
- Be a leader for the team
- Train staff consistently and continue to refresh and expand their knowledge
- Welcome guests and provide a great dining experience that they won't forget
- Communicate effectively with all staff
- Actively seek to gain a thorough knowledge of customers' circumstances, problems, expectations and needs
- Take ownership for delivering better solutions to customers
- Ensure there is adequate staffing levels in all areas of the restaurant for each meal period
- Have a presence in the restaurant to ensure the food, beverage and service quality meets our standard
- Anticipate and recognise problem areas and solve problems immediately when they arise
- Ensure the quality of our meals and drinks are served meeting all regulations, standards and expectations consistently and in a timely manner with passion and pride
- Control the use of equipment, crockery and glassware to ensure it is being used appropriately
- Provide a clean and safe environment for all persons
- Assist, motivate and support employees to achieve their respective targets
- Ensure all employees provide courteous and professional service at all times
- Abide by all Workplace, Health & Safety rules and regulations
- Ensure all procedures relevant to cash and eftpos handling are followed in order to achieve accurate financial reporting
- Make sure daily payroll is done effectively
- Undertake weekly and monthly stocktakes, ensuring accurate counts are achieved
