Join Serco's ADF Health Services team as a Medical Officer / General Practitioner and provide high-quality medical care to Defence members at Gaza Ridge Health Centre. You'll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
About Robertson Health Centre
Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of Darwin. It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2800 members, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It also operates a 22-bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
Your Impact
We are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a
Permanent Full Time
capacity.
As a
Medical Officer
, you will:
* Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies
* Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel
* Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support
* Provide medical technical advice to Defence leadership
* Work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed
What You'll Need
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
* FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration
* Minimum 2 years' full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years
* Australian Citizen – for Baseline Security Clearance requirements
