The role: The Symal Contractors team are seeking a Senior Estimator to strengthen its precontracts division. Take the lead on tenders for major projects across Victoria and South Australia. Your expertise will streamline operations, helping us secure new work and build lasting relationships, driving growth and success across the business.
Your everyday:
Preparing bids and tenders for various infrastructure projects including bridges, intersections, roads and drainage etc
Monitor current competitive prices, new techniques and cost trends
Develop accurate estimates through first principles pricing of direct and indirect job costs
Develop, train and identify improvements to the tendering systems, including facilitating the improvement and upskilling the team
Who are you?
5 years’ experience in pricing structures
Multi-disciplinary estimating experience on projects more than $20m
Ability to lead a tender and work on multiple tenders concurrently
Experience using industry specific software
Valid driver’s license
