Restaurant Manager – Mornington
Tio Tapas Y Vino is seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team at our Mornington venue. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and a genuine love for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and develop new staff members.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the front of house team to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including bar and floor management.
- Handle and resolve staff conflicts professionally and fairly.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints with a calm and positive approach.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and workplace health & safety.
Requirements:
- Previous management experience in a busy restaurant or bar.
- Strong knowledge of bar operations and beverage service.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to lead by example and inspire a team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Current RSA certificate (essential).
