Job Opportunity: Licensed Aircraft Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Hobart.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing line maintenance services on aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and operators' AOC.
You will work closely with specialist teams to deliver high standards of engineering, focusing on quality, reliability, and exceptional service across every shift.
The successful candidate will have experience as an Unrestricted B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, holding a CASA Part 66 licence with B1 Unrestricted Type Rating on the A320 family.
Additonal qualifications such as A220 and B737 licences are desirable.
You will possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and interpret options and develop solutions for the line environment.
Experience working in a line maintenance environment is also essential, along with excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage self and others.
A proven commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives is required, as well as the ability to handle competing demands particularly when under pressure or managing multiple stakeholders.
The position involves working shift work (4 on 4 off) including night shifts, and leadership capabilities, a strong work ethic, and an inclusive mindset are valued attributes.
The team relies on engineers to deliver superior safety standards up to the second, making sure they take to the sky safely.
