Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Community Development team is seeking a Personal Assistant to the Manager.
Purpose
The Personal Assistant to the Manager Community Development supports the Manager with administrative and executive tasks that assure the efficient operations of the Community Development team. The Personal Assistant provides daily support with communications, prioritisation management, administering financial processes, document preparation and submissions and in the administration of various Committees, Advisory Panels and Working Groups.
About The Role
* Manage correspondence on behalf of the Manager Community Development, coordinating responses to community requests through Council's document management system
* Support the administration and activity of Committees, Advisory Panels and Working Groups, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute taking, preparing and issuing and correspondence
* Prepare purchase orders, monitor and process claims for payments, and gather financial information for budget review processes
About You
* Qualification in Business Administration or equivalent
* Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholder groups
* Experience providing high levels of customer service requiring attention to detail and follow-through
