is on the hunt for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join the wider Marketing & Communications team.
In the Marketing Communications Specialist role, you will support both marketing and PR, including responsibilities such as media relations, assist on Investor relations matters, content development, creative ideation, leading campaigns, social media content creation and executing brand marketing programs for group and affiliates.
We’re looking for a marketing all-rounder who has a creative, entrepreneurial mindset. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has worked in an agency or in-house at a brand who wants to get global brand exposure.
Although we’re a global company, we’re a startup at heart with a flat hierarchy, meaning you’ll be able to get direct access to senior leadership and have an opportunity to manage and lead any creative media ideas you might have.
On a typical day, you may be working on a mix of the following:
Brand Marketing
1. Work in collaboration with the team to develop communication strategies and marketing plans
2. Lead content marketing and content creation initiatives
3. Design and implement consumer and B2B marketing campaigns
4. Develop social media content plans, as well as create social content
Public relations
5. Support the development of media materials, including media releases, media pitches, award submissions, media lists, briefing materials
6. Manage media requests and inquiries
7. Secure and manage media interview opportunities
8. Contribute to weekly reports and media coverage tracking
9. Research media ideas and journalists
10. Liaise with journalists to create media attention and promote the company
And when work is done, hang out with the team in our in-house, fully-stocked bar with Harbour views!
Qualifications:
11. A degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar fields
12. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role - marketing, PR or social media
13. Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
14. Great analytical and reporting skills
15. Reads the news - is up to date on current trends and happenings

16. Ability to work effectively on own initiative and within a team environment
17. Proven track record of landing quality media hits
18. Self-motivation, with a proven record of over-achieving targets & managing tight deadlines
