We are seeking an experienced
Digital Imaging Technician (DIT)
to manage the flow of media across our productions. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to maintain and improve data systems that keep our pipeline running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Wrangle, review, and transcode rushes.
Maintain standardised file management systems for each project, including file structures and naming conventions.
Archive rushes, film masters, and relevant editorial assets per project.
Organise and manage servers, LTOs, and other archival systems.
Create and maintain data storage solutions for all stages of the production pipeline — including shoot and production RAIDs, transit drives, and online file transfer portals.
Skills and Experience
3+ years of relevant industry experience (transferable experience in a similar technical role also considered).
Robust experience in designing and maintaining data management systems.
Familiarity with data wrangling tools such as Shotput, Yoyotta, or Silverstack.
Meticulous attention to detail and solid organisational skills.
Ability to maintain existing workflows while innovating new solutions for efficiency and reliability.
