Job Title: Portfolio Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage our portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the development of junior staff members in their career progression.
* Optimize profitability on contracts through effective cost control and risk assessment.
* Monitor contract costs against budgets and identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
* Prepare estimates and procure subcontractors, including the preparation of subcontract documents.
* Certify interim and final payments to subcontractors.
* Negotiate main contract variations and resolve disputes through adjudications or arbitrations.
* Evaluate all work to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Essential Skills:
* A motivated individual with excellent communication skills and adaptability.
* The ability to demonstrate innovative problem-solving approaches and negotiate effectively across various levels of any construction environment.
* Strong numeracy and IT skills to handle financial and mathematical demands.
* Experience working on civil engineering schemes with a main contractor and experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor using the NEC form of contract.
