We are seeking an experienced senior administration officer who brings a strong understanding of the NSW Health environment, in-depth knowledge of Clinical Information Systems, and a passion for service improvement.
In this role, you'll help guide day‐to‐day operations, supporting the Administration team to do their best work by being their first point of contact for questions, as well as delivering education and training to ensure optimal service delivery.

In collaboration with the Director Health Information, the Senior Administration Officer will advocate for the Tresillian administration team to standardise health record management and administrative processes; to provide best practice client centred services and to develop a plan for professional development of the administration team to support service delivery.
Selection Criteria: 1) Relevant post-secondary qualifications in business administration or administration or equivalent work experience. 2) Experience in leading, training and supporting staff in administrative responsibilities. 3) Broad administration experience in a complex organisation and proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume work area, managing conflict of resources or priorities. 4) Extensive knowledge of Medical Records maintenance procedures. 5) Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to varied audience and capacity to develop effective relationships within teams and with customers. 6) Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make decisions and work independently under limited direction, within the identified scope of the role. 7) Ability to process map administrative tasks and streamline and automate these activities. 8) High level competence in the use of computer programs including clinical information systems and Microsoft Office packages. 9) An eye for detail with a view to picking up and resolving data quality issues. 10) An understanding of how to review legislation, policy, and existing procedures on which to base best working practices. 11) Willingness to travel to all Sydney Metro sites (Canterbury, Nepean & Wollstonecraft) as required and, from time to time, other Tresillian sites across the country.
