Job Description Summary
As a Kitchen Worker, you are essential to the success and safety of our culinary operations. You take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation by performing deep cleaning of kitchen equipment—including stoves, ovens, and other high‐use appliances—as well as high dusting throughout kitchen and beverage service areas. Your work ensures a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both the culinary team and our guests.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
* Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
* Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, floors, grills, broilers, and other surfaces
* Conduct high‐dusting throughout the kitchen and beverage outlets to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
* Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per OSHA regulations and company policies to sanitize equipment and workspaces
* Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, sinks, garbage disposals, and other cleaning equipment; perform basic breakdown and reassembly as needed
* Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas throughout the shift
* Transport garbage, recycling, and debris from kitchen and bar areas to designated disposal locations
* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* 1 year of relevant experience preferred; STA Kitchen Worker certification preferred
* Knowledge of proper stove and equipment cleaning techniques preferred
* Familiarity with handling industrial cleaning agents and chemicals
* Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast‐paced environment
* Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
* Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety‐conscious work environment
* Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
* At least 18 years of age
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
* Verify right to work in the United States
