Healthcare Australia (HCA) is Australia's largest specialist healthcare workforce provider. We are a major provider of healthcare services across Australia, including allied health, primary care, recruitment, NDIS, care services, and training.
As our Release Manager within our IT team, you will take the lead on ensuring that software updates and new features to our key business applications are delivered to users efficiently, smoothly, and with minimal disruption whilst managing the associated risks. Reporting to our IT Manager you will:
* Develop and maintain release schedules and timelines using Azure DevOps Services - serving as the central point of contact for all release-related activities
* Coordinate release activities with development, QA, and operations teams
* Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the release including developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
* Ensure that releases meet quality standards and compliance requirements including overseeing and coordinating testing activities
* Manage the deployment process, including coordinating with operations teams for deployment to production environments.
* Develop and review IT Quality and Information Security Management System (QMS and ISMS) documentation and maintain detailed records of release activities, including release notes, deployment procedures, and issue logs
* Assist the Development team at times with remediating defects – using your C#/.NET capability

This role suits a highly capable Release Manager/Engineering whose experience show cases a proficiency in using Azure DevOps Services, including Azure Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Test Plans, and Artifacts.
Our ideal candidate will also have some previous experience in .NET/C# development so at times you can then also assist the broader Development team you are joining. This development experience will include experience with MS SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, security management, reporting and integration services packages.
We are looking for you to bring your DevOps expertise to the wider team – as we mature our agile methodologies and practices. Our team use JIRA and Confluence so some expertise in these tools is highly desirable.
This opportunity will also provide oversight to our Salesforce environment, so either exposure to Saleforce or a willingness to step into this new space will be key your success.
