We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team at our current head office in Osborne Park. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage financial records with accuracy and integrity. Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow statements
Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding, balance sheet reconciliations
Posting of monthly general journals
Formulation of budgets / forecasts on a quarterly basis and variance analysis
Monthly maintenance of the fixed asset register
Prepare and submit statutory returns including BAS, Payroll, and FBT returns
Preparation of the annual financial statements, including supporting work papers
Liaising with external accountants and JV partner
Revenue invoicing and AR collection
Bank statement / cashbook reconciliation and postings
Ensure compliance with company policies
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Accounting role
Working towards CPA/CA qualifications or in progress
Attention to detail, with a desire to probe further into data
Solid communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial language to non-financial stakeholder
Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
