Cloud Experience Team Member
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Experience Team member to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers, helping them to understand and use our products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in-depth technical troubleshooting and recommend appropriate workarounds and solutions for Postgres and our Cloud experience.
* Collaborate with junior support engineers to triage issues, create reproducible test cases, file development requests, and offer patches when possible.
* Work closely with development resources to resolve complex issues and improve our customer experience.
* Document solutions, procedures, and standards for customers as well as for internal use.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of significant experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent database technologies as a senior database administrator or database support engineer.
* 3-5 years of cloud platform experience in use of computer, networking, storage, application, and database services (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google GCP preferred).
* Strong problem-solving skills for abstract and complex issues.
* Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5-7 years Technical Support experience.
* Recent working experience in Python, Golang, and/or C/C++.
* SRE experience, including SLO/SLI, common architectural patterns, IaaS, or CI/CD orchestration.
