Are you an experienced operator with a strong understanding of manufacturing and machining?

Are you organised, proactive, and ready to step into a critical coordination role within a busy production team?

We’re seeking a Workshop Coordinator to join a respected local manufacturer based in Nowra.

This business produces high-quality architectural products and supplies both national and international markets.

In this hands-on, full-time role, you'll coordinate the daily flow of work through the machine shop, ensuring production targets are met, materials are managed effectively and team members are supported to deliver top-tier outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be process-driven, able to priortise work loads, detail-focused and confident communicating across departments to maintain quality and output.

Responsibilities

- Monitor production schedules and coordinate workflow across machines.

- Ensure jobs are completed and delivered to quality control or designated areas on time.

- Support operators with technical guidance and assist with machine utilisation.

- Contribute to daily machine review and Toolbox meetings.

- Identify and troubleshoot issues using structured problem-solving tools.

- Manage supplies, coordinate routine equipment maintenance, and maintain a clean workshop.

- Assist with rescheduling when absences occur and ensure afternoon shift workloads are prepped.

- Promote and maintain WHS and quality compliance across all tasks.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop workplace.

- Solid understanding of machine scheduling and workflow coordination.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve in real-time.

- Comfortable using tools and lifting sheet steel as required.

- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and commitment to team success.

Why Work With Us

- Supportive team culture with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Opportunity to grow with a well-established local business.

- Stable, full-time hours with Monday to Friday roster.

- Immediate start available for the right candidate.

If you don't meet all of the above requirements – but believe you have something special you could bring to this role – we still want to hear from you.

Please continue with your application and we will be in touch.
