Sharp & Carter is recruiting for a confident, capable Executive Assistant to join a purpose-led organisation. This is a critical temp role supporting two senior executives – with strong potential to transition to perm for the right candidate.
The RoleSupporting the CIO and Director of Corporate Services this position requires a hands-on, experienced EA who can manage up, stay composed under pressure, and navigate a dynamic environment. You'll step into a well-documented handover, with strong processes in place and a team that values initiative and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide timely and effective support including diary, travel, inbox, expenses, and admin coordination
* Prepare presentations, reports, board papers and internal comms
* Organise internal and external events for the Executive team
* Monitor timelines, track actions and ensure key deliverables are met
* Coordinate travel, accommodation, and meeting logistics (including catering)
* Ensure administration budgets are managed appropriately
* Liaise effectively across other EAs, senior leaders, and external stakeholders
* Maintain compliance with all WHS and organisational policies
* Uphold personal responsibility for both physical and psychological wellbeing in the workplace
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in executive support
* Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, with exceptional attention to detail and time management
* Advanced Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
* Energy, initiative, and the ability to work unsupervised
* Government or semi-government experience is ideal (not traditional public service)
* Knowledge of government processes and legislation is preferred
