We have an exciting opportunity within the Safety department of ALDI Stores, based in Stapylton. **This is a 12-month fixed term contract.**

This role is integral to the efficient operation of the ALDI Safety Department. You will promote and drive a positive safety culture by supporting operational teams in managing health and safety risks.

**What does the role look like?**
- Provide technical guidance and advice on health and safety matters by interpreting legislative requirements
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, periodic audits, and develop Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) as directed
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation, training, and development
- Respond to WHS incidents for the region, and actively manage your area of responsibility within the team by using initiative, and suggesting ways of improving systems for greater efficiency
- Assist in the maintenance and periodic review of the WHS Management system, Safety Online and the Contractor Management System
- Analyse and report on safety data to monitor and review performance against WHS KPIs and targets
- Assist with injury management activities if required.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated experience in WHS with detailed knowledge of WHS requirements, QLD legislation and best practice
- Team focussed with a solutions-focused approach and ability to collaborate and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Open communication style with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and with direction
- Completion of Certificate IV in WHS (minimum) required
- Completion of ICAM training highly regarded
- Experience in Warehouse and Logistics or Supply Chain highly desirable
- Experience working with WHS IT reporting and management systems - particularly, SolvInjury and/or SafetyOnline.

**Remuneration**
- Transparent tiered salary range of **$114,700 - $136,800** including Superannuation.
