A leading organisation operating within complex critical infrastructure sectors is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its high-performing legal team.
Working closely with procurement, infrastructure and technology stakeholders, this role supports major commercial, sourcing, outsourcing and transformation initiatives across sophisticated vendor and operational environments.
This is an prospect to join a collaborative and highly engaged team supporting strategic infrastructure and technology programs within a complex and evolving business.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on large-scale vendor, procurement and outsourcing arrangements supporting telecommunications and technology infrastructure
* Leading negotiation of complex commercial agreements, including managed services, technology and long-term strategic supplier arrangements
* Supporting major infrastructure, network and transformation projects across multi-stakeholder environments
* Advising on complex commercial risk issues, including liability, IP, operational resilience, data and service delivery risk
* Supporting strategic sourcing and supplier engagement activities, including large-scale RFP processes
* Partnering closely with procurement, infrastructure, technology and operational stakeholders to deliver commercially pragmatic legal advice
* Supporting dispute management and resolution across complex supplier and commercial matters
* Advising on regulatory and operational considerations arising within critical infrastructure and technology environments
Skills & Experience
* Approximately 4+ years' PQE gained within a top-tier, strong mid-tier or well-regarded in-house environment
* Experience across telecommunications, technology, infrastructure or major projects environments
* Strong commercial contracting capability, particularly across vendor, outsourcing and procurement arrangements
* Ability to operate within complex stakeholder and operational environments
* Commercially minded with strong judgement and a pragmatic approach to risk
* Experience supporting large-scale transformation, infrastructure or technology initiatives will be highly regarded
