About the Role
As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and, where applicable, their families. This is a Permanent Full-Time position based in Benalla.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include (but Not Limited To)
* Lead a team of disability support workers, providing high-intensity support to clients.
* Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets.
* Promote person-directed support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards, within available resources.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services, surpassing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Provide high-quality support to customers and their families, offering management support to care staff.
* This role includes rostered after-hours on-call duties.
About You
To be successful, you will share Yooralla's values and have:
* Management experience, preferably within community services.
* Strong leadership skills, either as an experienced leader or a support worker ready to step into leadership.
* Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
* Knowledge of person-centered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
* Initiative, self-directed work practices, and strong organizational skills.
* A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in human services.
