This is a full-time on-site position in Mareeba requiring the management of daily financial transactions, preparation of financial reports, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

* Prepare monthly financial reports, payroll, and statutory returns;
* Maintain and reconcile general ledger and fixed assets;
* Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation;
* Enhance financial systems and processes for improved efficiency;
* Contribute to risk management and internal audit activities;
* Liaise with external accountants for annual reporting;
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations.
Requirements

* Demonstrate intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook;
* Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards;
* Display excellent analytical skills and the ability to formulate and present detailed reports;
* Possess at least 5+ years of accounting and finance experience;
* Salary package commensurate with skills and qualifications.
