About the Opportunity
Benevolent Living are seeking a highly capable Executive Support Officer to play a pivotal role supporting our Chief Executive Officer, Company Secretary, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
This is a senior, trusted support role at the heart of the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Support Officer provides high-level executive, governance and secretariat support to ensure the smooth, professional and compliant operations of the CEO's office and Board functions.
The role combines executive support excellence with governance and Board coordination, requiring discretion, sound judgement, strong organisational capability and the confidence to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
* Provide high‐level, confidential executive support to the Chief Executive Officer to enable effective day‐to‐day operations and decision‐making.
* Manage the CEO's complex diary, scheduling, travel and competing priorities.
* Coordinate executive travel, meetings, forums, events and professional development activities.
* Prepare agendas, papers, presentations, minutes and action tracking for Executive Leadership Team, Board and Committee meetings.
* Compile, analyse and present data, reports and executive information to support informed decisions.
* Prepare professional correspondence, reports and communications on behalf of the CEO.
* Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders engaging with the CEO, Executive Team and Board.
* Provide high‐level secretariat support to the Company Secretary, including Board portals, meeting papers, calendars, annual work programs and draft minutes.
* Maintain governance documentation and statutory registers, supporting compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.
* Utilise advanced Microsoft 365 tools to enhance executive workflows, reporting and information management.
What You'll Bring
You are a highly organised, professional and discreet executive support specialist who thrives on responsibility and trust. You bring:
* Demonstrated experience providing high‐level executive or senior administrative support, ideally at CEO or Board level.
* Strong understanding of governance and Board secretariat processes.
* Exceptional organisational, time‐management and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
* The ability to exercise sound judgement, initiative and confidentiality at all times.
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and working independently.
Role Features & Requirements
* Permanent full-time but open to discussing part-time opportunities if you are a strong candidate and need some flexibility.
