Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Cook to join our CranebrookService.
This position is a Full-time role - Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm.
Responsibilities
* Implement and modify (where required) a seasonal menu created by our nutritionist.
* Maintain regular checks in compliance with the NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations.
* Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care.
* Collaborate with the staff and families to facilitate learning opportunities relevant to the educational program.
* Maintain professional, supportive and respectful relationships between management, staff, families and children.
About You
* Demonstrated Cook/Chef experience in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector.
* An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory.
* Food Handlers Basics Certificate.
* Valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check.
* Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF and NQS.
