Job Description
As a Delivery Manager, you will be the critical bridge between product, technology, project management and our clients, ensuring that we deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions that meet client and business outcomes. You'll partner closely with a Project Manager to guide teams through delivery using SAFe agile practices, helping to remove blockers, align stakeholders, and uphold operational excellence. In this role, you will:
* Act as a key point of contact for client delivery engagements, ensuring transparent communication, effective planning, and timely execution.
* Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring confidence in delivery and alignment to business needs.
* Lead the delivery of cross-functional product and engineering teams, ensuring technical feasibility and regulatory compliance in superannuation.
* Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to align scope, timelines, and resources across internal and external teams.
* Implement and evolve delivery practices based on SAFe, Agile, and hybrid models to fit project context.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, enabling high-performing teams through coaching, rituals, and feedback loops.
* Champion the use of quality standards, testing practices, and automation to drive scalable and secure delivery.
* Support professional development and learning across delivery teams, promoting experimentation and knowledge sharing.
* Align delivery outcomes with stakeholders across product, engineering, compliance, risk, and operations.
* Facilitate co-creation and discovery workshops to define delivery paths and uncover potential issues early.
* Maintain visibility into delivery risks, dependencies, and progress across initiatives, escalating where appropriate.
* Ensure work adheres to compliance, risk, and security protocols required for superannuation administration.
* Leverage data and delivery tooling (e.g. Jira) to drive reporting, governance, and informed decision-making.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will likely have:
* Proven experience as a Delivery Manager, Iteration Manager, or equivalent in a fintech, SaaS, or regulated environment.
* Deep understanding of Agile delivery practices, including SAFe; ability to tailor frameworks to delivery context.
* Strong technical literacy and ability to work with engineering teams to understand trade-offs and solutions.
* Experience delivering in regulated industries - superannuation, managed funds, financial services, or similar preferred.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills; able to bridge business and technical domains.
* Familiarity with Jira.
