Contract Management Specialist
This role will oversee the management and administration of construction contracts ensuring seamless project delivery and scheduling. The Contract Management Specialist takes ownership of projects, anticipating requirements and working one step ahead.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and related commercial documents.
* Monitoring contract compliance and performance, identifying and resolving issues that arise.
* Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on contractual matters.
* Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and records.
* Collaborating with stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and legal counsel to ensure effective contract management.
* Supporting the preparation of tender responses and contract variations.
* Assisting with the preparation of regular reporting on contract status and performance.
* Assisting in take-offs and procurement.
* Assisting with onsite inspections.
* Assisting Project and Construction Managers in daily onsite tasks.
Requirements:
* Minimum 0-2 years' experience for the Contract Administration role within the construction industry.
* Thorough understanding of construction contract law.
* Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and administration skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in the use of contract management software.
