Project Manager Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major construction project in the Central West NSW region.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent the owner on-site, ensuring the contractor delivers in accordance with contract terms, technical specifications, and project schedule.
* Manage interfaces, risks, and disputes with the contractor and partners on-site.
* Liaise with local authorities via assigned project roles.
* Manage the site coordinator assigned to the project.
* Monitor and report on construction activities and attend witness points to ensure compliance with relevant design, specifications, codes, and standards.
* Manage claims such as warranty defects with contractors or insurance providers.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum 2 years of experience managing construction projects in the power generation industry.
* Understanding of complex, multi-faceted energy projects across multiple jurisdictions.
* Working knowledge of acts, regulations, and policies governing project development, construction, and operation.
* High level of safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
* Strong situational awareness and problem-solving capabilities.
* Proven ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
* Local to the Central West NSW region or willing to relocate.
