The Lodge Jamberoo hosts one of the newest, most fun, retro-cool wedding venues on the South Coast, along with Lulu's Restaurant, a Euro-inspired, French-flair, but South Coast through and through. We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to work directly with the Executive Chef to lead the culinary team. We want someone passionate about food and mentoring.
About The Role
Oversee daily kitchen operations in collaboration with the Executive Chef / Head Chef
Coordinate with the culinary team on food production, setup, and timings for events
Ensure seamless kitchen service, focus on product quality, and lead the team through coaching and delegation
Maintain compliance with Work, Health and Safety, Hygiene, and HACCP standards
Manage supplier quality and costs effectively
Contribute to menu design, innovate, and push culinary boundaries
About You
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
2-3 years’ experience in a production kitchen or similar environment
In-depth knowledge of HACCP standards
Exceptional culinary skills and training ability
