ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This reputable Local Council based in the West of Sydney is hunting for an ambitious Ranger to play a pivotal part in their team. For the duration of a 6 month contract, you will be reporting to the Team Leader and promoting a positive image of Council in an efficient and courteous manner.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this role, you will work alongside a team of 5 rangers. You will actively patrol the Council's environs to ensure general compliance. Additionally, you will be managing unauthorized events, animal control, illegal dumping, noise control, littering, land use and more to ensure safety for the community.
DUTIES.
* Enforce parking provisions within the Local Government Area
* Patrol building sites and school zones
* Response to animal attacks and noise complaints
* Report other non-related parking matters to Council
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
* A Class C Driver's Licence is required
* Certificate IV Local Government Governance
* Ability to work in a diverse team environment
* Well-developed conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
