Are you an experienced and highly organised Facilities Manager looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a skilled professional to manage facilities on behalf of our **global food manufacturing client** in **Ballarat**. In this key role, you'll ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of the site, while maintaining a safe and productive environment for all employees.
**About the Role**: As the **Facilities Manager**, you will be responsible for managing both hard and soft services, overseeing planned work schedules, and leading a team across **Security, Cleaning, and Catering**. You will also manage contractor relationships and ensure all services meet safety and compliance standards. Your key responsibilities include:
- ** Leadership**: Supervise and lead a team of staff and contractors, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
- ** Stakeholder Relationships**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, building occupants, and external contractors.
- ** Customer Service**: Foster a culture of excellence in customer service within the team.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Drive innovation and strategic initiatives to improve facilities and services efficiency.
- ** Compliance & Reporting**: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Provide regular reports to management on service delivery, site performance, and key issues.
- ** Project Management**: Lead facility-related projects and initiatives.
- ** Facilities Systems**: Proficient in using facilities management software and systems.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- ** Experience**: Proven experience in delivering facilities and asset management services in a manufacturing environment.
- ** Leadership**: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop teams.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- ** Communication**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
