The Venue This beautiful dining venue has a name for quality and a reputation as one of Sydney's unique dining restaurants. We are seeking a Head chef for this Iconic location. This venue is focused of both tradition and seasonal, you will come with experience in higher end dining and have refinement in your techniques as well as great leadership skills and volume experience. The Role As the head chef, you will run the kitchen on a day to day basis, and mentor your team to consistently create quality cuisine. You will partner with the owners to continue this great culture and consistency of food. With a medium sized brigade of chefs your main focus will be keeping it organised and keeping the team motivated. You To be successful in your application, you will have: Several years experience as a Sous Level ready to step up or as Head chef within a busy A la Carte Venue Culinary experience across all sections required Strong abilities in training, mentoring and developing young chefs Excellent organisational and time management skills Passion for creating quality and consistency in every plate put out Overall knowledge of all operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets The want to grow and develop your career On Offer This is an awesome role for someone wanting to find a job that they LOVE.
