This position provides essential support to the AES Finance Manager across all areas of accounting and financial reporting for the AES business.
The role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial outcomes while ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with corporate procedures, statutory obligations, and relevant Australian Accounting Standards.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Prepare timely and accurate monthly reconciliations, financial reports, and management analysis
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including Australian Accounting Standards
Identify and implement opportunities to improve management and financial accounting processes
Carry out additional tasks as required, in line with your skills, qualifications, and experience
What we are looking for:
Tertiary Qualification in Accounting
CA or CPA Qualified
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Industrial, Civil and/or Mining sectors
Extensive experience in financial reporting and business operations
Experience in managing ERP system and IT processes
Work well under pressure ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency is maintained
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
