Join us.The Opportunity:The Specialist will be responsible for creating, qualifying, developing, and selling ITOM/ITSM solutions. Using a consultative sales approach, you will focus on business value to engage new and existing clients. Supported by a team of pre-sales solution consultants, you will manage a designated territory comprising large and mid-sized clients. Your portfolio includes SaaS and on-premises solutions.You Are Great At:Results-driven—taking ownership, seeking performance improvements, acting with urgency and accountability.Energy & work ethic—bringing curiosity, energy, and innovation; building trust through authenticity and integrity.Domain expertise—applying understanding of business practices, industry trends, and the competitive landscape; being viewed as a trusted advisor.Pipeline qualification—seeking new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, owning pipeline creation, and progressing opportunities to close.Value-based selling—identifying key value drivers for clients, developing unique value propositions, and selling outcomes rather than products.Planning for success—using a structured approach to build and execute annual sales plans, balancing strategic and tactical pursuits.Team orchestration—building cross-company pursuit teams, collaborating with partners to develop territories and expand sales.Good sales hygiene—accurate revenue forecasting and maintaining an up-to-date CRM system.What It Takes:Minimum 5 years of proven SaaS or license software sales experience, with a record of over-achievement and new business wins.Related work experience in application development, testing, DevOps, or Value Streams is a plus.Strong network of client contacts.Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees or MBA preferred.Experience following sales methodologies, territory management, and opportunity management.Successful partner engagement experience to drive additional revenue.OpenText values an inclusive work environment, exceeding legal compliance.
