Customer Support Representative -
Mining
to join our
Mackay
team supporting mines in the
Bowen Basin
.
Responsibilities
Provide holistic OEM customer and technical support for our valued mining customers
Manage an existing network of customers and source new customers to grow our business
Promoting parts and service sales solutions to achieve company budgeted sales targets
Working to a customer call cycle and actively building parts & service quotes tailored to customers' needs
Reporting of activity, prospects, sales opportunities and competitor activity
Attendance at customer site meetings as required to resolve technical issues
Provide fluent customer relationship management, and a positive customer experience
Qualifications
Essential requirements: Trade qualification in a mechanic or electrical discipline
Technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment
Demonstrated success in a similar role
Be self-motivated and be able to build long-term relationships
Excellent administration, communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to travel as required within your region
Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline would be advantageous
