We believe in the talent and strength of our team, and as we continue to grow, are looking for a progressive, broad minded Electrical Superintendent to join our Fulham project team.
The Role
We believe in the talent and strength of our team, so that, in aim to keep growing together, we are looking for an Electrical Superintendent for our Project based in Fulham to start with, and more projects to come, to help you grow with our team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Defining the work sequence and areas related to the electrical activity.
* Defining how supervisors and contractors who will control each work area are distributed.
* Checking progress and incident reports submitted by supervisors.
* Dealing with the subcontractor project managers in relation to any incidents.
* Supervising invoicing by the different subcontractors and approving them before they are finally approved by the Construction Manager.
* Controlling delivery of electrical material to the site, and reporting/supervising any possible incidents with the Procurement/Logistics Department.
* Monitoring works progress to ensure it is in line with the contract Schedule and bring any delayed work up to date.
* Managing the subcontract of the electrical area.
Skills and Knowledge
* Proactive Approach: Identifying hazards and actively monitoring the site and engaging with project team to implement preventive measures.
* Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with the project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Technical Knowledge: Understanding relevant health and safety regulations, electrical industry standards, and best practices.
* Leadership Qualities: Encouraging a positive safety culture on site by leading by example and promoting safety awareness.
Qualifications and Experience
* Electrical degree and or Diploma level qualification (advantageous).
* Three years of experience in the construction of photovoltaic plants performing the functions described.
* Previous experience in renewables or construction.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Driver's license
