The role
As our business continues to grow, we're seeking experienced Electrical and/or Telecommunications Cablers to join our high-performing Sydney team. This is a full-time, permanent role working on long-term government projects, delivering critical digital infrastructure within regulated and integral environments. You'll be part of a team shaping the next generation of essential technology platforms across NSW.
Joining Alliance SI, will mean
* Working hands-on delivering critical government and infrastructure projects within the data and communications sector.
* Installing, testing, terminating, and maintaining structured cabling and communications systems to a high standard.
* Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance, following HSEQ requirements at all times.
* Collaboration with Project Managers, Supervisors, and fellow Technicians to meet project requirements.
* Completing job documentation, testing records, and as-built information accurately.
* Attending site briefings and meetings, contributing to safe and efficient work outcomes.
* Representing the business professionally on client sites.
* Supporting and work alongside other Technicians and Apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practice.
What we're looking for
* You're trade qualified in Telecommunications or Electrical, and hold a current ACMA licence and/or NSW Electrical Licence.
* Experienced working on school, government, or similar regulated project environments.
* Hold a current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willing to obtain prior to commencement.
* You're heavily safety-focused, with a strong commitment to HSEQ standards.
* Have a strong attention to detail with confidence using project systems and MS Office. Experience with SharePoint, Bluebeam, Groundplan, or SimPro is highly desirable.
* You're willing to work across multiple sites, and undertake occasional regional travel as required.
* You're a clear communicator who is reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks
* You're motivated, professional, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work
