Electrical Engineering Expertise
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a rare opportunity to work with like-minded professionals on challenging projects that contribute to the creation of sustainable, accessible, and resilient communities.

One such example is our recent appointment to deliver multidisciplinary engineering services for the design phase of a major airport project.
Your New Role
We are looking for an Associate Director to lead technical delivery, manage projects and people, and help shape the strategic direction of the business. You will work closely with our Building Services Director and be part of a wider network of professional engineers working on local and national projects.
* Lead the technical design on electrical services, including design management, for medium to large multi-disciplinary projects.
* Demonstrate expertise in designing electrical systems, ensuring best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time.
* Act as a Project Lead and manage a small team of Electrical Engineers and Drafters.
* Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams.
* Be a supporting figure and mentor for lesser experienced engineers.
* Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities.
* Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets.
* Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals.
About You
* Hold a recognized Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
* Demonstrate expertise in designing electrical systems.
* Have the ability to coordinate and understand relevant building services disciplines, including Mechanical, Hydraulic, Fire Protection, and Environmentally Sustainable Design.
* Proven project experience in the building services sector across Infrastructure, Property & Buildings, Defence, Healthcare, Educational, and/or Mission Critical facilities.
* Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards, local NT experience an advantage.
* Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.
* Demonstrate a history of effectively managing competing priorities, prioritizing work, and meeting tight deadlines.
* Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
* Capable project and people leader - train, and mentor junior engineers, coupled with effective communication skills at all levels.
* Knowledge of project finance and commercials an advantage.
