About this Role:
We are seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join our team. This role involves working under the supervision of the practice manager and collaborating closely with our dental team.
Responsibilities will include patient care, clinical support, inventory management, patient education, team collaboration, and compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Patient Care: Assist patients throughout their treatment, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
* Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist dentists during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.
* Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels to ensure the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
* Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
* Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.
