Banjo's Bakery is seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our bakery team. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about producing fresh, high-quality baked goods in a busy bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and bake bread, rolls, pastries and other bakery products
* Measure, mix, mould, prove and bake dough according to recipes and standards.
* Operate ovens, mixers and bakery equipment safely
* Maintain product quality, freshness and presentation
* Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
* Assist with stock rotation, ingredient preparation and general bakery cleaning
* Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
* Relevant baking experience or qualification preferred
* Strong knowledge of baking methods and dough preparation
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work under pressure
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to follow recipes and workplace procedures
