About The Team
The Project Manager role sits within the Infrastructure Network Utilities Delivery – Water and Sewer team. The team comprises nine Project Managers and two Construction Inspectors responsible for delivering water and sewer infrastructure projects across the City.
About The Role
The Project Manager will manage components of water and sewer programs and projects, ensuring outcomes align with scope, budget, safety, quality, and time requirements.
Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver capital works projects, including new infrastructure and asset renewals across Council's water and sewerage network.
* Coordinate contractor activities, track schedules and budgets, identify risks and communicate with stakeholders.
* Work under general direction, escalating complex issues as required and contribute to the successful delivery of broader programs led by senior staff.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant and equivalent experience and knowledge
* Diploma in Project Management or relevant equivalent experience and knowledge
* Experience coordinating projects or project components within a multidisciplinary environment
* Ability to work collaboratively and support team outcomes
* Sound written and verbal communication skills
